Southside woman charged with illegally using debit card

A Southside woman who worked as a waitress at a Gadsden restaurant has been charged with illegally using a debit card she took from a customer at the restaurant, Southside Police Lt. Clay Johnson said.

Magan Nicole Richey, 20, was charged with fraudulent use of a debit or credit card for an alleged incident that occurred Tuesday.
Johnson said a customer at the restaurant used the debit card to pay for a meal and Richey did not return it.
She used the debit card a little while later to buy gas and groceries at a convenience store in Southside, he said.
