Prichard police need your help to find Corey Henderson, wanted for Murder

PRICHARD, Alabama
Prichard police are hoping to find Corey Henderson, 36, after indictments were drawn against him in connection with a triple shooting in January that left 2 men dead.
Police Chief Jimmie Gardner said that anyone who sees Henderson should call 911 or Prichard police at 251-452-2211.

Warrants against Henderson charge him with 2 counts of murder and 1 count of attempted murder, Gardner said.
The indictment states that Henderson shot into a vehicle containing 5 people, including brothers Willis Hampton, 18, and Willie Hampton, 23, who were both shot to death. Another man, 19-year-old James Dean, was wounded in the shoulder but later recovered.
A 19-year-old woman and a 14-year-old girl were in the car but were not struck by gunfire, Gasrdner said.
The incident took place near Dial and Barnes streets in Prichard, and Gardner said at the time that the shooting was drug-related and was probably related to a turf conflict.
There was no weapon found in the Hamptons' Ford Crown Victoria when police arrived, but officers found a bag of crack cocaine, Gardner said. He added that the Hamptons were in the area to sell drugs when a white van pulled up to them and someone opened fire on the car.
Henderson, 36, has a long criminal record dating back at least to 1994, with several charges related to drugs and illegal firearms, according to online court records.
