Meth found in pickle jar in Opp

Opp, Al.
On Tuesday, an Opp man became the latest jailed for methamphetamines after Drug Task Force agents found meth inside a pickle jar in his home.
DTF Agent Greg Jackson said he stopped a truck driven by Ricky Earl Osborn after he was caught driving on the wrong side on Geneva Street.
“A search of the vehicle rendered methamphetamine in a plastic container, pseudo ephedrine and two bottles of HEET – each items used to manufacture meth,” Jackson said. “Shortly after that, we went to (Osborne’s) home, where we located a meth lab with over 500 grams of meth oil.”
Also inside Osborn’s U.S. Hwy. 331 South home was a 20-ounce water bottle filled with meth oil.
As a result, Osborn faces a slew of charges, including possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, manufacturing and trafficking. He is currently being held in the Covington County Jail under a $1.04 million bond.
