Russell County teacher in hot water over racy text messages with student

RUSSELL COUNTY, Alabama 
A four-month investigation landed a Russell County High School teacher in jail and charged with distributing obscene material to a minor.
Abby Bundrick, an English teacher and cheerleading coach, is accused of swapping racy text messages and inappropriate pictures.
The sheriff's office began the investigation after receiving a tip from someone at RCHS. Bundrick is on paid leave pending an investigation.
Bundrick made the $5,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court for the misdemeanor charge Nov. 18.
