Dothan, Al. On September 25, 2011 the Dothan Police Department responded to a local hospital where an adult female was receiving treatment for a gunshot wound. The victim told police she was at a party in the 300 block of Young America Drive when shot. She stated as people began leaving a fight broke out but she was not involved. The victim then heard a gunshot, and felt pain in her left hand. The victim was unable to see who fired the shot and had not seen anyone with a gun. She then was driven to the hospital by a friend where she was treated and released for a moderate injury on her left hand.
Police are asking anyone with information about the case or identity of the suspect to call the Dothan Police Department or CrimeStoppers 334-793-7000.
